LHH is supporting a tenured client who is looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist for their company in Tualatin. This person will be supporting evaluating suppliers, negotiating on materials, and creating sourcing strategies to optimally support their customers. Job Details:
- Benchmarking, leading RFQs and supplier evaluations - material pricing guidance
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that achieve cost, quality, supplier diversification, and sustainability goals
- Working on complex packaging such as clean room work, dust particulate free packaging, metal assemblies, and use of recyclable materials used.
Requirements:
- Ideally 8-10 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably focused in crating or packaging industry
- At LEAST 5 years of experience in sourcing on a Global level in packaging is highly preferred
- Bilingual in Mandarin is HIGHLY sought after but not required
- Able to work 100% on site and travel around 25-30% to either OR or CA
